Vlad opened a door the desks wanted shut. These shorts are the night it happened, and the weeks after.

Episode 1

Enter the Garden

He looks back because the room is already changing. Lanterns. Tatami. A red knot in his hair that wasn't there on the street. The first episode is a grin, then a gate.

Episode 2

Pit Lightning

The Pit is the back row of the city: wet stone, bad lighting, people who still keep paper books. Water hits the alley like a ledger slamming shut.
